What to Consider When Buying A T-Ball Bat?
1. How is The Bat Being Used
There are a few things you want to consider when you are getting a t-ball bat.
First off, make sure that your child is actually using the bat for t-ball. This might seem like an obvious thing to know.
However, some parents do get their kids t-ball bats for baseball. T-ball bats simply aren’t built for regular baseball games.
The balls used in actual baseball are heavier and harder so a t-ball bat isn’t suited to a regular baseball game.
2. The Size of the Bat

You want to buy your child the proper size bat so they can actually play with it.
For children aged 5 to 7, who usually play t-ball, a length of 24 to 26 inches is a typical size.
For kids that are a little bigger, you can go with a 27-inch bat. In terms of size, this will depend on your height and weight.
I recommend going with a bat that is around 13 to 18 ounces. 14 ounces is a good middle-range bat weight.
Finally, the drop of the bat should have a drop of -10 to -13. But this won’t be a big issue as most t-ball bats fall within this range.
3. Barrel of the Bat
